Looking for ways to cut down on energy costs? Promoted by the Office of Energy Efficiency at Natural Resources Canada, the saveONenergy Audit Funding Program offers financial incentives to eligible members of the commercial, industrial and agricultural sectors.
The program is designed to help identify energy-saving opportunities that will lower operating costs without compromising performance. Making use of financial incentives available for the completion of energy audits, companies will find savings in areas like equipment replacement and operational practices among others.
Is my business eligible for the saveONenergy Audit Funding Program?
According to Hydro One, covering up to 50% of the cost of an energy audit, the Audit Funding Program includes an evaluation of your building’s energy performance.
Eligible building owners can receive up to $25,000 in incentives for an Electricity Survey and Analysis including a financial, or Life Cycle Analysis. For buildings greater than 50,000 square feet in size, up to $35,000 in incentives are available for capital-intensive projects identified during the Electricity Survey Analysis, also known as Capital Intensive Modifications.
Eligible tenants in buildings measuring less than 50,000 square feet are also eligible for an Electricity Survey and Analysis.
